I always crochet over my ends but I like the way she actually "locks" the end into the stitch! I am going to try that

I like that it is locked in but would it be noticable that half your square is double thinkness?

You know, I had that thought too when I was watching it. I think when I try it I will just lock it into a few stitches then leave a tail that I can weave in later

How did I miss this post!? Very clever technique but I would not like the excess bulk. Would locking only a couple of sts be enough? Weaving in one tail beats weaving in 2 though!
