 Grin  I really like the crunch and grit stitches.  Nice to see the tutorials on all of the them since I never can remember which one is which.  LOL

I learned this stitch from an older crochet stitch pattern book several years ago, but I don't remember what the pattern was called. I've used it make a number of scarves, especially for using leftover yarn from other projects. It makes a nice lightweight scarf. For an average width scarf, I begin by chaining 18.

Originally, I learnd the stitch to make a baby blanket, but the spaces seemed too big for tiny fingers.

It's a simple stitch that works up fast. I love it.
