I am thinking "thinking" Shocked, about going through my crochet patterns books, I don't have a whole lot of books and don't know exactly what I have, but I am thinking about putting them up for sale. I was wonder if anyone knows how well pattens books, pamphlets sells like on e-bay? I don't know if it would be worth my time to list and find a fair price for each one. ??
I am afraid as I go through them my hoarding syndrome may kick in  Cheesy  Grin and I may not go through with it, even though I don't and very most likely will never use them  Tongue

It might be an idea to list what you have on here first? I'm sure some of us would buy some.
So far as I know... most things will sell on eBay so long as you charge a fair price.

I have bought pattern books on ebay, but usually won't pay the price/shipping for one book, usually buy a "lot" of books, that have a common theme - doilies - afghans - baby - etc.

I like the idea of listing by lots. I could list here first giving my crochet "home buds" first dibs.  Smiley

There is a way to use the Advanced Search on Ebay to check out the completed auctions.  I use this to see how well baby afghans have sold in the past month or two so I know if I should list some or not.  I also used it when I found I had a duplicate copy of a kids Christmas movie.  I went to Ebay, checked out the completed auctions to see if anyone was buying this particular movie and when i found out it didn't sell all that well (and it was Christmas time too) so I didn't waste my time or money listing it.

Good luck with whatever you decide.  If you have any pattern books on afghans or baby items I would be happy to check them out and possibly buy some from you if I don't already have them myself.
