I just wanted to mention a little something about copyright laws. First of all they are hard to understand, but there is one that I have to mention here. We are not allowed to post patterns in the forum. You can post a link of a pattern so others can see it and get the pattern, or if you would like to share your patterns with friends via email, that's everyone's individual choice. I would hate to have the forum be shut down because of breaking copyright laws so if you could all please not post the patterns in the forum, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!  |

:)this pattern i'm re-writing.is an old magazine patt ,i ''modified'' i cant get it loaded on photobucket as it is a ''word doc' so it is ok to send that out e-mail hope i dont sound toooo thick  |

Gold, nobody is too thick when it comes to copyright laws. Not even the lawyers or whoever rights them.Very confusing. I think the pattern for the baby jacket is yours. You took a pattern and modified it and rewrote it to a working pattern.....what do you think Bende? My hubby is in the music business and works with copyrights all the time. They are tricky.

Alot of people get vintage patterns, and re-write them to make it their own, so I see no problem with something like that.

Absolutely gold, if you re-wrote it and modified the pattern, then that makes it your own...so there should be no problems with that....
