I don't know if it would "fit" or be appropriate but after reading Addie's socks story I thought it might be fun to add a category of crochet oops's, disasters, or whatever, since I am sure we all have ridiculously funny project experiences ---past and present.  I know I do!   Cheesy

Haha I'm honored to have inspired a new forum category.
As a fairly new crocheter, I always see such breathtaking, lovely projects in the showcase... I thought other new people should see that mistakes happen, and they can be very funny.

Great idea, Carol Ann!  Cheesy

Oh, yes, Addie---you were very inspiring!  Cheesy  I once thought I was the queen of mishaps with my needlework---especially my crochet work!  I still make plenty of mistakes, particularly because I can be quite dense about reading patterns.  Simply AMAZING how I can (still) produce something quite alien to what the pattern picture looks like! Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy  At any rate,  I am more than happy to share my queen's crown with everyone else. Grin
