Red Heart

Took my weekly trip to Walmart and they had new Red Heart Yarn...It was yarns with flecks......there was a claret color, black and a brown color...and a cream color all with flecks in them.  I bought a couple of the black with flecks, thought it would look good for a bag.......AND all red heart yarn is on sale for $2.  And I'm cautiously optimistic because it looked to me like the yarn section is starting to expand again....the only thing it's expanded with the red heart and not so much other kinds of yarn.........they're not done yet, so we'll wait and see what happens with it!

YEA!  RH on sale and MAYBE more to come at Wally World!    I think I will be able to get to WalMart tomorrow and will take a look.  Hopefully it isn't all sold out yet!  I saw a sample of some of the new RH lines ( new flecks and also some "tweeds") last time.  Tweeds were pricey and flecks a bit more than the usual price(s).  I really need the flecks and was only able to get the aran fleck and the beige fleck (2 skeins each).  Black fleck sounds super!  Thanks for the heads up, Bende.  Good timing for my anticipated run on WalMart.

I just bought some of the silver fleck yarn from Red Heart at AC Moore.  A friend of mine would love to have a black and silver afghan to show his pride in the Oakland Raiders.  Wouldn't he be surprised if I showed up with a Black and Gold afghan  ;-)

Anywho, I can't wait to put the silver fleck with a basic black yarn.  It should look fantastic.
