Great Find on Lion Brand Chenille

I wandered into our Value City store the other day and there was a display of Lion Brand Chenille.............. for 2.99 a skein!!!!!!!!!!! For anyone who doesn't have a VC store, they buy up overstock and store closing inventory and sell it at huge mark down prices. My mom, who is staying with me for a couple months while she recoops from surgery, saw this and I swear she was drooling! Hope that was a reaction to a great price and not a side effect from her operation! I am going to HAVE to find some appropriate patterns to take advantage of this super find!

For those who don't have that store, if you have an "Ocean State Job Lot" store, they have all the chenille yarn for $2.00 a skein.  I'm looking for some good chenille patterns myself.  they also have wool yarn for $2 a skein, and the "ribbon" yarn, for $1 a skein.  I got what they call ticker tape.  I found a pattern using it, and bought about 5-6 skeins.  so whenever I get the chance, i'll be making a bag using that yarn.  They also have other yarns for good prices..i go every thursday to check out their stock! LOL I'm just waiting for the caron simply soft!

I must live on another planet cause I don't have either one of those stores near me.  WHAAAAAA!  I'm glad you girls are getting good deals on the yarn though.  I guess if I can't find those kinds of deals I can be happy for you.  Hahahahahaha.
