This is my own recipe, a cookie bar version of a "Take 5" candy bar.  I tried it out last night for the first time & the gang at work says they are awesome.

Ingredients
2 tubes of refrigerated peanut butter cookie dough
1 cup lightly crushed pretzels
14 oz package of caramels
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup peanut butter, divided
1 cup chopped salted peanuts, divided
12 oz package chocolate chips

Directions
Preheat oven to 350°
Spray/grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Mix 1 tube of cookie dough with 1/3 cup peanut butter and the pretzel pieces. Press into even layer in baking dish, bake for 12-15 minutes until just golden & set. Allow to cool slightly.
Mix 1 tube of cookie dough with 2/3 cup peanut butter and 1/3 cup peanuts. On a sheet of parchment or plastic wrap press into even layer the size of your baking dish. Refrigerate.
In saucepan melt caramels with sweetened condensed milk, stirring frequently, until smooth.
Pour caramel mixture over cookie dough crust, spread in an even layer. Top with refigerated cookie dough mixture and peel off parchment/wrap. Bake @ 350° until golden brown, 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool slightly.
Melt chocolate chips in microwave until smooth, stir in 2/3 cup peanuts, spread over cookie bars. Refrigerate until set.

Footnotes
Lots of steps, but none of them are hard. I wouldn't plan on whipping these out in 1:30 hours, but I find I can do one step at a time while also doing something else, like making dinner and they are done by the end of the night. Works best if you can let it cool slightly between layers.
