Hey Bende can you tell me how to do the loop stitch.

I got a pattern for a sweat shirt that you crochet a santa face, sew it on the front of shirt, then crochet the back of head and hat, then sew that to the back of the sweat shirt.

I want to try this, so I can take a pic, kinda hard to see it in black and white.

Hey nutty.........here you go...hopefully you can understand these directions  Grin

ch 11, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in remaining 9 ch (total of 10 sc) ch 1 turn.
Row 2: * Insert your hook under both threads of sc. Now grab the yarn and pull it thru the sc. You now have two loops on your hook, yo and pull thru both loops.* Repeat from * to * for next loop. You will place a loop in each sc. ch 1 turn.

Row 3: sc in each sc across, ch 1 turn.

Repeat rows 2 and 3 for desired length.
