I would like to find the weight of a certain yarn, A taste of glitz by K1C2, so that I could use another of similar weight.  Is there a website that would help? Huh

I checked the Knit One Crochet 2 (K1C2) website and could not find the type listed there.  I was wondering if it was of similar type to size 10 crochet cotton or size 5 pearl by dmc.

It is used in the Crochet for Barbie by Nicky Epstein.

Thank you.

Any 2 ply lace weight yarn should be equal to Taste of Glitz. Just check your pattern's gauge. Good luck. : )

Ravelry lists it as a Fingering weight.  So any Category 1 - Super Fine would be adequate.   #10 thread is probably too small, but held double would be OK.  #3 or #5 thread might be more suitable.

Check your gauge if size is important.
