I have looked everywhere for a fire truck scarf pattern, but I can't find one. I found several fire truck afghans. Has anyone seen a fire truck scarf?

Thanks!

Wilbur---I do not have a pattern for a fire truck scarf but take a look at the graph at this link:  http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_bn-8t_z7a3M/R1G53n3Dw9I/AAAAAAAAAE0/j2kDu3rAx-s/s1600-R/Fire+Truck.jpg  Could you possibly create your own graph or convert the graph shown on the link to your required proportions?  I will keep looking and asking around.  Smiley

I had not thought about graphing it. I'll try it even if I find a pattern. This may take a couple of days, but I'll share the results when I graph it.

I haven't seen one for a fire truck, but I have seen one for a school bus.  It might be on Ravelry?
You might be able to add or adjust it for a fire truck.

Good luck with the project, Wilbur.  Looking forward to hearing and seeing how it works out.  Grin

I may modify the school bus pattern that crochets247 mentioned. A couple of years ago I found the school bus pattern on the Internet. Last winter I made the school bus the way the pattern was witten. It was nice, but it was not exactly what I wanted. In the end I ripped it completely apart four times and came up with a pretty different way of producing a similiar bus. The pattern I created is based on single crochet. If I can't find a fire truck pattern, I will probably try to graph a new one based on the school bus that I made. Every year I tackle a completely new pattern -- like the school bus last year. It looks like January will be a fire truck scarf. I'll let everyone know what I come up with. In the mean time, if you find a fire truck scarf pattern ...

Here's one, it's on etsy - I think you could look at it and figure it out - looks pretty simple (only sc stitches)

Good luck - can't wait to see what you come up with! Smiley
