Hi I'm new

Hi everyone, I'm new to this - it's only taken me 30mins to figure out how to post a message!!!!  Anyway I'm a crochet addict, I first learnt to crochet at school which was a long time ago.  I went away from crocheting when I was running a house, working and looking after the children (you just don't seem to have any time for yourself).  Anyway that's all behind me now I'm retired and living in Cyprus and have lots of time to myself.  I have 4 grandchildren (living in the UK).

I have recently tried doing some of the crochet jewellery but I found that crocheting with wire was very hard and the end result wasn't very good. I will give it another try though.

Looking forward to hearing from you and sharing tips and practices.

Thanks for the replies. I was originally from Newport and my brother still lives in Caerphilly.  I am currently on holiday (school holiday babysitting) in the UK.

Yes the rain is coming down in buckets!!!! Still it seems strange to think that back in Cyprus they are having grassland fires and worrying about the heat. Still august bank holiday to look forward to that should bring some more rain
