Help please.....

Hi all,  I found a pattern for a scarf and a hat I would like to make.  It is for beginners but I don't quit understand it.  Can anyone help me please?  Here is the web site.

I have never heard of Fpdc or Bpdc.

I have not started on it yet.  I want to wait to get help to see if I can really do it.

Thank you for your response.  I understand it and got it going.  It is looking  good.  I'm using yellow and white.  I'm proud of myself (lol) .  I have to keep practicing with the stitches and reading the instructions. Again thank you!

Hi, I finished my scarf.  I think it looks good.  But when I looked at the picture I realized that I made it to narrow.  The picture is wider.  Now I'm reading the pattern again to figure out where I went wrong. I have to make another one for my mom and she wants it wider.  I will take a picture of the scarf so you all can see and give me any and all advice.  I do accept critcism.  I just want to learn and be great at crocheting.
