Hi, my name is Laura and I'm 21. I only started to learn to crochet this year. I thought I could make a few things for my brother (he's having his second child).
I've only made a few things.... including a bag (a pattern my mother suggested to get me started), a large shawl, and a smaller one my neice insisted on having for her dolls. And I'm now working on some bootees (taking time off from another shawl). The bootees being the main reason I'm here. I think I'm starting to annoy my mother by constantly phoning asking for help.
Hope that I can learn some new things... maybe share some interesting patterns with you all Smiley

See you on the forums soon x

Haha. Thanks all. Soon as I find my camera I'll take pics of what I've already done. Nowhere near as impressive as some of the stuff you guys do!

Hi there, so pleased you found us!
Ask for help as much as you need, I was totally the same when I started too, except I dont know any one that crochets so these lovely ladies got all my questions.
I live in Bristol, we hop over to Wales all the time! Love it there!

Hmm let me see...we've been to the brecons a few times lots, of walking and very beautiful. Tenby, Bari, Cardiff (also did the half marathon there), Ponty Pool and others but I cant remember their names! lol.
When i was a child we camped along the south coast every year. Love it!
