Hi my name is Laura and I'm 27 years old, I'm new to this site. I've been crocheting for a little while but recently been teaching myself different stitches. I was just doing the standard stitches and my work just looked the same. I recently found an awesome person on Youtube who teaches crocheting via video and that seems how I can really learn. I've taught my older sister and my left handed mother and a couple of friends how to crochet lately. Its been a joy to share this talent with my favorite people. I have a 5 month old baby boy and I just finished a baby blanket for him. But I really don't have much time to sit down and crochet. So I get it in any time I can. So I hope to learn a lot more stuff from this blog. Can't wait to get started! Thanks.

Welcome!  I have a 15 month old and a three year old myself!  Suddenly around a year old after both kids I started having time to crochet again!  I bought one of those books on varied stitches and I learned well frm that.  Funny how so much is really just a variation on the basics so since you have that down the rest will actually be a snap!
