Hello all, I'm happy to be here.
My real name is Kat,
I learned to crochet as a child with my gram but haven't done it in years. I am a reborn artist and love making dolls come to life, however due to a recent illness I've had to slow it down quite a bit. I am a crafter of all sorts (if I haven't done it ill want to try it lol) I make everything I can, so sitting still was driving me crazy! One day I couldn't take it anymore so I grabbed an old bag of yarn a friend gave me and a hook and well got hooked again!
The name Krooked Hooker came to mind cuz when I was a child gram used to tease me saying I held my work sideways when crocheting. Basically I crocheted toward myself and not to the side,lol anyway so the krooked hooker was born.
I am still relearning everthing, but have actually have made quite a bit of things since picking the hook back up.
I am so happy to be here I could use the boost from a happy group to keep my mind from my illness and on new projects.
Also due to my situation hubby got me the internet service on my phone to post and surf because I can't get to my computer too often so please bear with me if my spelling is off(tiny darn buttons) lol
Anyway all that aside I am a mom of two a 17yr old awesome daughter that plays the violin and is an artist(drawing and such) and a totally cool 5 yr old boy who is too smart for his own good and loves to write his own songs and plays drums and has just started learning guitar. Yes its a musical house lol (my grandfather was a penticostle minister and my father and aunts were extremly musical, perticularly my father and aunt writing, playing and recording christian music.) So the kids got music in the blood
I love animals esp doggies I have 2 my mommas boy is a 5 yr ols shizthu named Karma and we have a 4 yr old beautiful blue pitmix girl named Stone
I love to do my reborns, sewing, knitting,crocheting and any other crafts I can get my hands on or think up.
I can't wait to dive in and look around and hopefully make a few friends in the process.
