Been awhile since I've checked in to see what everyone is working on.  Personally, I don't have anything on the hooks yet, but tomorrow I will be going to get some yarn for a round ripple that my mother has requested..so I'll be starting that tomorrow night.  What's happening with your hooks?

Cheesy I am sort of running between hooks and knitting needles ---several crochet and several knits going on at the same time.  On the hooks--- a few more baby bibs for gifts and some for the women and childrens' shelter as well as 2 different pineapple baby blankets.  Oh yeah...started some of the crochet covered Christmas ornaments for next Fall / Winter charity auctions at several churches.  Needless to say the arthritis in my hands is going into high gear in rebellion.   Roll Eyes Cheesy

I finished a spider man round ripple and about 2/3 finished with another one, both are for my supervisor's sons which are 3 and 1. She had to put the first one up because they scream at each other when one has it. I stop shortly and made a Faux dickie for two scrub tops that were given to me. Both tops are too low cut for my comfort. Showing my cleavage in my 20's was ok,  Shocked not comfy showing them at 48.  Cheesy Grin

still have the same throw on the needles and nothing on a hook. Oh my. I'm in a dry spell. I do have to finish some ends on a blanket for my new great niece. MAYBE that will get me going again.

Right now I'm finishing up a bedspread for my king size bed.  Don't know what my next project will be.  Have finished and given several afghans to family.  What with the cost of yarn skyrocketing, don't think I will be doing too much crocheting in the future.

Got sticker shock in the grocery store today when I saw the price on Maxwell  House coffee.  $13.79 couldn't believe it.  Guess coffee will be the next thing to be cut out.

Last week I finished a yellow baby sleeping bag. I did all the crocheting just after Christmas, but only last week I put in the zipper and crocheted all the parts together. I also finished a blue and white striped baby blanket for my cousin's great grandson that will be born in a couple of months.

Now I've started a pink baby sleeping bag. No more scarves for a couple of months!

I'm making a lot of these market bags (prepping for a craft show).  Made this one for my daughter who sells Mary Kay cosmetics.  She took it to a meeting and got me 2 orders.  (There's a keyring and an cell-phone pocket on the inside).  I can whip one of these up in about a day and a half, so it's a quick way for me to make some extra spending money (which usually gets spent on yarn and crochet thread!)

Thought I should revise what I wrote first, it's been a while. I'm working on a ripple afghan, and it's actually working! Also, I'm working on a purse with a pattern of my own, so I hope it works out for me. Since I am self-taught, I am also taking classes to help. Cheesy
