Finally, tonight I finished the afghan I started because it looked so nice with my couch. Now I still like it and will use it, but I'm sick of the bloody thing! I don't want to see it for weeks; perhaps I'll forget the pain; it's like having a baby, I suppose. (I never did. Have them.) No, I won't be posting pictures of it soon (besides, I haven't figured out that part of my camera yet).

I have projects like that.  Dolies are usually finished for weeks before I block them because I don't care to look at it any longer at the time.

Me, too. My camera isn't cooperating. I would post some pretty cool pictures if it did.

sometimes I get sick of looking at certain colors!  Eventually you will be able to admire your work!

Congratulations on completing your project.  Please do show us a picture as soon as you figure out your camera.

Those long drawn out projects do get me also.  I started crocheting an afghan 18 years ago.  Haven't picked it up since.  It's not that I'm tired of the color because is white.  Just making the same pattern over and over again for me gets very boring.  One day I will pick it up again.....hopefully before the yarn disintegrates.
