OK...I got 6 balls of 6 oz. of yarn. But yet, I've only done 12 inches and the three first balls are already running out! I changed the stitch to the back loop and can't tell if that will help...this is the biggest project of my life, and I need it to be 40x60. I think 40 as the length and height as the 60. I mean the 12 inches I mentioned before as the length. ( is that spelled right? ) And already I'm almost through the first 3 balls. I might be okay, but If I'm not, would you suggest changing from a soft pink, white, and dark green to other homey colors, like blue, purple, and grey like the sky? Any other suggestions?

How much ounces are in each skein or ball that you're using?

Maybe 6? I actually need 36 oz. and have 6 6 oz. balls. But I think I'll run short. Am I right?

How many balls do you have of the 6 oz? It depends. If you need 36 oz then you need 6 balls of each color that you are doing. but is the 36 a total of Each color or over all of ALL the yarn you will be using?
