I typically make a small crafty item for the women in my familly and several co-workers. I need to make for about 20+ people, and I usually give everyone the same thing just in varying colors/styles, etc.
I did beaded bracelets back when I was into jewelry. I painted ornaments one year. I made washclothes for everyone when I picked up crochet again. I made fingerless mitts one year when I was feeling adventurous (and started earlier). 2 years ago I got a HUGE deal on polar fleece and made everyone a fleece shrug. & Last year I did the ball ornaments with the crocheted covers.
I am burned out of ideas this year. Anyone got any good ideas? Yes, I realize I should have started thinking about this months ago, but most years this is how it goes.

How about crocheted snow flakes or angels? Or scarves? One of the ladies on here last year had a really cute snow man - I found it - it was called snow yo man - that could be cute too - you could also make them as santas or angels too - the pattern looked pretty simple too. Good luck!

I am crocheting bath puff.. 14 of them. I still have half to go, the're for co-workers. I am not using cotton.... Cotton absords the water doesn't sud and gets heavy and flat. I tested one out of cotton. I also modified the pattern into a smaller puff. I had my daughter to test one and I tested one we both like them.

Bath puff would be great, I did one while back in cotton because I like the washclothes and little afacial scrubbers out of cotton, but the puff is just a heavy soggy ball.
What kind of yarn did you end up using?
