I was thinking we might do something that we haven't done before. I thought perhaps we could do a secret santa type of swap for Christmas. What we would do is ask all that are interested and put all the names in a hat, then meet in a chat to pull the names and I would secretly give out the names and everyone would crochet a small gift item for the name they picked. And then we would all ship our items to the person we picked on a certain date so that everyone gets a "gift" for Christmas. First I want to find out how many of you would be interested and if there is enough interest, then we could all get started..........so.............who's in?

Oh my garnet that sounds like SO MUCH FUN!!! I would have to talk this over with my mother, I dont know if she would allow it, haha. First I need to get into my crochet groove. Im in for making something, just dont know if shipping it would be a definite thing. BUT if i can't, then I'll just post the picture to whoever my secret santa is!  |

Wonderful idea Bende but I am out of commission with hooks and needles for a while I think.  Having some serious carpal tunnel problems with my right hand with arthritis and tendonitis raging right along too and am trying to avoid surgery. No way can I hook with one of those brace thingies on    So sorry to back out this time around. |

Ok...all those interested in the Secret Santa will need to send me their address so I can send it to the person that gets your name. Please send it PM. Can everyone make it to chat tomorrow sometime in the afternoon? If so, let me know the best times for everyone and I will see if I can pick a time that will be convenient for most....

Well, how is everyone doing with their secret santa item? I think if we haven't already...we can start shipping them out to the lucky recipients! Hopefully everyone can post their gifts when they open them so we all can see what everyone got!
