and I just love it!  I wish I were having another baby just so I had a reason to make it!  Hmm maybe one day I will make it for my future grandbabies.  However they are at least 25 years int he future!

Is that all crochet? If it is I think we might need a beginners filter so things like that can't scare me!

yep. all crochet! Maybe a few details in cross stitch.   It looks like it is all one stitch, either single or half double crochet, just lots of color changes.  I wonder if they just crochet over the other color sometimes or if there are complete color switches constantly.  That is the part that scares me!  But I am dying to do it! My kids start a regular daycare this fall and my son loves his, what he calls "mommy loves me" blankets that I crocheted for him while pregnant.  He uses them daily at home still and he is 3 1/2.  I am tempted to make it for him to take to daycare for naptime.

That is so cute.  Wish that was available when Johnn was born.  I had all of John's accessories in Noah's Ark and that would have been such a cute addition.  It's a little scary for me, I haven't crocheted something like that yet.  For me, I would have to just make it with no one in particular mind to receive it and no due dates.  I would love to see it finished though.   If you get it, please post pictures and let us know how easy or difficult it is to help those of us with this type of dreaded fears.
