HEY TH!!!!  Where HAVE you been Huh  SO good to hear from you  Grin  No, I haven't seen the wasabi before but I don't have the access/ extensive supply places since moving to this part of KY.  I checked it out online.  It does look like a darker frosty green (yes, we do love that one Cheesy) but I am wondering if it might look a bit olive in person(?)  I'll be anxious to hear what you think....

Grin Kiss Grin Kiss Grin Kiss  PRAISE THE LORD!!!!  such wonderful news!  Will send you a private e-mail to catch up more of the news.  My garden was unbelievable as well.  I'll have to tell you what happened to ALL of it AFTER it was all put in the freezer.  Cry  Angry  Roll Eyes  Yes, be sure to let me /us know if you get the thread and how you like the shade.  I will have to look into what is happening with Redheart and Aunt Lydia's threads.  Wally World has phased out the Aunt Lydia and is stocking nothing but Redheart at the stores in Western KY.  But, when the colors of the RH looked the same as Aunt Lydia I checked the wrappers and they are using the same color names!   For instance, A.L's. Frosty Green is still Frosty Green in the RH.  The RH thread is ok enough but A.L's is nicer and still has a slightly higher sheen.

Have to say I am pleased with the color...looks nothing close to frosty green....I am not good at guessing colors or rather shades
of colors but it makes me think of guacamole  Cheesy
Oh and they also have another new color, which I found at HL a while back that is called.. River Classic..I like it really well too.

Grin  Thanks for the update on the thread!  It is good to know you like the shade.  Will you be using it for "anything and everything" OR do you have specific items in mind that the color would be well suited for Huh  I'll have to look up the other color you mentioned---River Classic.  And, I'll check HL the next time I am in Paducah.  As soon as you have used your new thread(s) on a project be sure to post a picture!!!

Is the wasabi one of the AL Bamboo?  I have a green AL Bamboo that I think was called wasabi (lost the wrapper), it is a pretty green, rather muted, but not olive.  It isn't as "minty" as some other green thread I've seen.  I did a couple small things in it, including a small individual pineapple, it is a good shade for pineapples, matches by daughters bathroom decor, which is palm trees and tropical, so the pineapples fit.
