OK, so question number 1  Grin
I really need to get a book lol, but if someone could explain what lp means I would be very grateful since it seems to be all over the place.

For example, part of the pattern says:

ch6, drop lp from hook, insert hook in ring, pick up lp and pull through ring....

Thanks - that was a quick answer!  hmm. I thought so. I may have more questions regarding that once I start the pattern! When I go to pick up my yarn I'm going to see if they have a cheap book!

Usually in the crochet magazines, in the back they have step by step instructions on how to do some of the stitches, that you may have to do.
