I've crocheted three blankets, two purses, a small bouquet of flowers, and a bowl of "fruit". I'm thinking about something else I could do, and hats came up. If you have any tips on how to crochet hats, please tell me! Also, I know this might go in crochet questions, so sorry about that!

It's difficult to give you tips on making hats.  Every hat is a little different.  As a rule if you are making a hat in single crochet, you would stasr the 1st round with 6 stitches and increase 6 stitches evenly around every row until it reaches approx. 5-6" before you stop increasing.  If you are working in double crochet, you would start with 12 stitches on the 1st round and probably increase 12 stitches every row also.  It would depend on the pattern used and the type of hat, etc.
