Pattern ???

Am afraid that I will have more than a few question with this one.
I am trying to make worm for Daniel.

ch 2
rnd 1: work 8 sc in 2nd ch from hook (got that part), place marker to mark beg of rnd.

rnd 2: (sc in sc, 2 sc in next sc -- inc made) around -- 12 sts.  

Please explain.

It also said to work with double strand, how do you do it, do you undo the ball and make it double or do you cut a long piece of strand and double it?

Ok first of when it says use double strands, usually I get 2 different or same color and crochet with both at the same time.

And for the first part for rnd 2:  you do a sc in the 1st sc, 2 sc's in the next sc which will make an increase, then just continue on like it says til you have 12 sts.

Nutty, I think that it is a great idea. I think unwinding and then winding back the skein is a bit tedious and time consuming.

Thank you, If I understand correctly, on the eight scs I have to increase four scs, which will make 12 scs.  like this sc, 2sc, sc, 2sc, sc, 2sc, sc, 2sc

That is correct on the sc in order to make 12 sc.

that's ok I will just wait to see what you make.
