I gifted myself and got the new "Knook" hooks. Has anyone tried this yet?

No, haven't tried it.  I keep being intrigued with the technique and have read up on it and watched a video, etc. but that is it.  Kept thinking I am doing well enough with regular crochet and regular knitting and Tunisian and already have enough hooks and needles to outfit an army.  LOL.  But, still I am intrigued.  You will have to tell us about it and post some pictures.

I bought it not long after it came out & find it to be a very slow process.  I know that there is a learning curve but even after doing it for awhile it didn't seem to go any faster.  May try it again but not a fan right now.

I saw this on hsn and decided to get it, then found them cheaper at Walmart.  I wasn't too happy with the outcome at first but I think I got the hang of it.  It is a bit slower that crocheting to me but it is definitely faster than my attempts at knitting (I just can't get the hang of holding those darn needles!).  I made a baby hat and I'm am very proud of myself cuz it definitely looks like I knitted it even though I crocheted it!  Wink  I think that if you give it a try you might like it.  I'm gonna try to post pics later, having some issues with my picassa account.
