HELP..Any idea's what to do with.....

I have 1 ball (is ball the right thing to say?) of Patons POOCH Big Sky

I Was going to make it into a hat for my youngest because with a name like "pooch" it was calling out to be a PUPPY HAT with BIG FLOOP EARS, however when i started it, it was REALLY REALLY hard to work with.  
I used a H hook with your basic hat pattern.
Any idea's? i really wanted to make it into a hat...
but at this point..I am OPEN for ANY segestions......

has anyone else worked with this befor?

BOY,thats a tough one but I did see they suggest at least a size K hook.Perhaps a pretty blue with the Pooch as a trim. It is really pretty yarn! I can see why you are anxious to use it!

I agree with Tweed, use a bigger hook and another blue in it also.  The yarn is beautiful.

That's the prob with the specialty yarns....too pricey for a big project and even the yarn company's don't give us small project ideas.

I will *try* a bigger hook! & using another type of yarn with it...do you mean holding 2 together and crocheting that way?

I am not giving up on the hat idea...because let's face it..it would look sooooo darn cute! hehehe....but if there is some left over i think i will be making a headband for my daughter! heeheheheh
