Intro and question
Hello everyone,
I am new to the group and looking forward to learning and sharing crochet tips and tricks with you.

I am working on a pattern for a little girls baby bonnet and having trouble with my sizing.
Most sizing charts seem to show the head measurement around the head near the eyebrow.
Since I am making a bonnet I am thinking that I need to measure from below the ear up and over to the bottom of the other ear
and from the temple around to the other temple.

I have had several family member ask me to make bonnets for their little girls and when I ask what size all I get is the normal
Small, Med or Large.  I could really use some help to simplify things.
Thank you so very much!

Hi and welcome to the forum!  I can't be of much help with the bonnet sizing since I have only made hoods and caps.  But, I'll hunt around and see if I can find any info about properly sizing a bonnet.

I think the general way to get the size is to measure the circumference of the head going around from front to back.
