How cute! I wish I had ever made any mittens before and I wish I had more time, because next week is when they have the Mitten Tree at my church, and I'd love to give those (everybody brings a pair of mittens or something warm for a kid). Actually they have the tree all month, but I think this would be a bad time to make something for a gift that I've never made before.
