Inspired to finish WIP

Many people love thread work and I am one of them.  Sometimes a stitch pattern comes along that really excites me.  This is one of them.  It is the Garnet Purse pattern that was posted recently.  I think it is so darned pretty and such a nifty stitch design.  1st pic is the front of the work.  I love the 3 cluster FPDC on the upward angle.  2nd pic is the backside ---which I think is so pretty and intricate looking.  What a neat blanket or jacket (or whatever) this stitch pattern would make.     I did a sample of the stitch for the handle straps (because I couldn't understand what was meant, or visualize the look LOL  ) and it is sooo cool.  A crocheted rick-rack looking kind of scalloped edged "braid"...which I have never done before.  And, believe it or not, this IS an easy pattern

I did save the pattern when it was Annies pattern of the day. Now I'm really glad I did

That stitch is great.  You always say it's easy, Yeah, easy for you!!  LOL  Didn't see that pattern, is it too late to get it?  I hope not.
