Well, live and learn I say, it was nothing but a lots of my time.....lol Roll Eyes  So my first wearable....a circle Jacket...I tried it on my daughter this morning when I went over to her house. The length was long enough, but I decided it was just to big, (So did she, but she would say it, she didn't want to hurt my feeling Smiley)So I thought I would crochet a matching belt, but the more I thought about it the more I decided nope I am going to rip it out, so I did... just know......thank goodness for my ball winder...I frogged about 97% of the jacket....all I had left to crochet was the sleeves Cry, oh well Roll Eyes, I say live and learn....I am going to try again, leaving out the leaf pattern on the back center (a total set of five, a starter leaf, then a couple of rows down add one on each side of center, the a few rows add again) and do just the V stitch...will do the leaf pattern around the collar, sides and bottom. I'm hoping that will do it, and still turn out to be a nice jacket it. I posted the link if anyone wants to see what I frogged Tongue

i really like this nice jacket i have it in my todo list
i did think the sleeves would need adjusting what a shame youve had to frog it but no point in keeping something your not happy with it would just hang unworn and unloved in the wardrobe
i have lots of things like that at least you know where to make adjustments and you can work with it untill your happy cant wait to see pics of the improved jacket

OMG you frogged that ??  Shocked
What a lot of work both making it and frogging it.
That is the reason I don't make wearables. I'm never happy with the fit Sad

Shocked OMG!  Is right!  Ditto Maria!  But, I can tell you will NOT give in! Cheesy  sounds like you have a handle on the changes you have to make.  Man oh man do I know the frustration with fitting wearables.  BRAVO for you, Lisa, for sticking with it.   Grin

Man I did this pattern in a cal at the ville, and sold it.  Didn't even get a pic of it, never tried it on either.  Don't give up, maybe you could use a different sized hook too.

Knowing that I can not sew should have been  enough to have told me to stay away from wearable, But my daughter sure wants this jacket....so if at first you don't succeed then maybe sky diving isn't for you... Grin
