I'm slowly working my way through all the wonderful articles and items posted on your website.  I just wanted to say that before my father passed away this past January, he had received a prayer shawl about 2 years prior to his passing.  If I recall correctly, he received it about a month after he was operated for colon cancer.  At this point in time, he already had Emphazima and Congestive Heart Failure.  About three months prior to his passing, he went for a doctors appointment to his heart doctor who was absolutely amazed that he was still living.  His heart doctor truly didn't think he was going to live 3 months after his cancer surgery.  We were blessed with almost an extra 2 years.  I truly believe it was all due to all the prayers that were prayed for him along with all the prayers sent through the prayer shawl.   They are such a beautiful gift and always welcomed.

Wow what an amazing ministry!
I feel very inspired.
My hubby and I host a prayer group at our home. I have always wondered how my love for crochet and my love for minisrty could be combined, maybe i have found a way?!
