How is everyone doing on the crochet along. Haven't seen any pictures yet, so i was wondering if people are still working on it? I'm thinking that very soon, might be time for another crochet along. I thought this time we'd do a swap...how does that sound to everyone?

Well, I didn't get the spaceship finished yet as I had hoped. I'm just melting in this heat. It has hovered between 112 and 116 for the last week. It's all I can do to drag myself out of the house to go to work. I've been spending "quality time" with my 7 year old grandson in his little pool. We have even gotten into the pool at 10:30 in the evening and it was still in the high 90s. We need a break from this awful heat. We've lost power a couple of times, but never for more than a couple of hours. I can't stand to crochet when my hands are sweaty. But I WILL finish it.

Hang in there. Having gone thru this our 3rd heat wave of the year, I can emphasize with you. I'm sure we can all be patient til you finish and can show us how cute the spaceship is!

I'm so bad. I haven't touched the project in over a week. I plan on taking it with me this weekend when I'll have about 6 hours of being a passenger and will have time to finish it. My grandson's being very patient.

I feel bad I didn't join in this one but I can't get much crocheting done either, plus like you said the heat is yucky!!
