wheni start row 12- the 2nd round of larger shells - do you follow row 8 exectly or do u add stitches as you increase row (what i did)

You just keep going, still skipping the same sts as before. All you do is 1 round with 1Dc, ch 2, 1 dc (thats the sm. shell) and two rounds with 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc (that will be rounds 8 and 9). You will be increasing the stitches as you go, just remember to always skip the same two for the (well it will look like a V). Know what I mean, like a valley in between the peaks.

Well, I think I finally got the hang of it - it still kinda ripples up and down when I lay it down - but I followed the directions perfectly - here's a pic:  See the rippling effect? Let me know if it looks like I did something wrong! Thanks for your help! |

it will do that till you get more rows on. I tend to smooth it out when I lay it out. Doing a great job though.

I started on my RR last night. It is for my SIL. Her baby is due in July. Here is some pics so far.   Oh by the way I finished the shawl Nutty....... LOL I posted the pics. |
