Nutty suggested a round ripple crochet along and I thought it was a good idea since I've wanted to make one for so long now...this will be that little extra push to get one done.  Who's going to join me on this crochet along???  We'll also do some chats with our round ripples as we progress with the blankets.  Nutty......can you direct us to the pattern you are using?  Anyone wanting to join us...we will probably start this weekend.........who's in???

That's the link, it's a baby ripple so I just keep going for a larger adult size.  I have started 3 more but I can do a 4th.  So count me in!!!

Come on ladies, this will be fun!!!

This sounds fun...I never make blankets or afghans but this is so pretty.
I've saved the pattern.
I just may join this CAL but not until I've finished a few other things.

cant figure out y,  will it lay flat once it is bigger.
this is how it falls naturally

For the center you a bigger hook, then switch to a smaller size, but eventually it will lay flat.  And you can do as many rounds of however many colors as you want.  I usually do the center all the way to round 9, then switch to a different color (like just one round) then go 2 another color (usually I use 3 different colors).  I have been doing a total of 5 rounds per color, sometimes 3 all depends on how you want it.
If not sure put it on your bed or couch and stand back and look at it (I do that ALL the time) LOL

Just remember it's up to you and once you do one you are hooked!!!!
