Ok, who started their quilt? I started mine. Of course, I had to pick the one with over 1,000 squares. I got 40 done so far. I will have to work on the sweater today, but still will do more squares! So...how far have you gotten?

how big are they?
i hope they are all different as 1,000 all the same would make me cross-eyed

A thousand squares! Holy moly!! Makes me cringe just to think about that. I'm about 30 squares into mine. Lot more to go though. LOL

1,ooo squares omg!!!! mine has 470 that's enough for me good luck with it  i have done 65 so far... much easier than having a big afghan on your lap in the heat!!!!! |

I'm in for the quilt CAL. I still have 18 in to go on the knitted blanket. What the heck, I'm off to Walmart to pick out some yarn. Will difinitely be working on other things also. Don't think I could live through 704 squares without a break!

ok i got 2/3 of my wool, awaiting more to come into the shop but have started on my quilt, suffering tonsilits at the moment so only doing wee bits here and there

oh ladies i so want to be part of this cal i have a pattern all picked out but i dont know if i will have time to fit it in now .  my sister ANN is coming for an unexpected but very very welcome visit she arrives on wednesday so we may be a bit busy i will start the quilt anyway though i might take longer than the rest of you to finish it i will post pics when i have some to show |

Hey, don't worry about it Kathy. It's going to be quite a while before mine gets done as well. I have many squares to do and then the assembly...It's a big project, but I think everyone will be happy they made a quilt, they are so nice!!! Can't wait to see everyones! It's gonna be fun, and I'm sure everyone's quilt is going to be beautiful!!!
