We will be starting a new crochet along and it's a bigger project. We won't start it yet, but just wanted to give you the heads up that it will be coming. So if you want to join in on this one...you might want to try to get your small projects done and out of the way soon. What we will do is a quilt. I posted quite a few "quilts" in the afghan section...you pick any quilt you want! It will be fun to see everyone's quilts because there will be different quilts and color schemes. So, finish up any projects you might have and get ready for this one. I will post soon when we will get this crochet along underway. Stay tuned!

Bende I can't believe you posted a crochet quilt along!!! That is going to be my next project too! I LOVE the look of the quilts and found one I am just DIEING to do!!!! I've even got my yarn for it already! I can't wait to start it!!!!! This is gonna be so much fun!
Hurry everyone! Get all your projects done so we can all do this one together!!!!!!!!!!!

For anyone who wants to play around with color choices............or maybe design your own patterns........here is a site where you can print off graph paper. http://www.incompetech.com/beta/plainGraphPaper/ I am thinking I just may give this CAL a try. Wow Shari, that is gorgeous! I didn't understand until I enlarged it! Unfortunately this is too hard for me as I'm having trouble re-learning to do granny squares (unsuccessfully).
Bende, if I can find an easy one for a baby blanket I'll give it a try but otherwise I'll have to sit this one out.
Gotta get back to crocheting soon tho as my niece is due in a few months. I think it is a boy.

Hey Bende!!! When are we gonna start on the quilt crochet along. Um like cause I already started on some of my squares since I was planning on making one before you posted this. Believe me I'm not far but I am ready. LOL.

I'd like to give everyone another week so they can get their WIP's done. I don't want everyone to feel overwhelmed..it would be great to get alot of members to join...so, get those WIP's finished up.....  |

ok should be done then, had a bit of a prob with the bingo dauber bag, dont know where i was going wrong on the outter layer, had to take it back twice lol but got it now and just about finished it. lapghan will hopefully be done this w/e too. Best look for a quilt pattern so as i know what wool i need, also gotta look for some lovely quick simple items to demonstrate at our local craft group in next few weeks, any ideas from you ladies would be much appreciated. Our group is part of the local neurological centre so some of our ladies have problems with dexterity.

Hey Bende......I know I'm new but I think I can get this afghan done within a week and I'M EXCITED ABOUT THE QUILT QUEST!!! Forget the weaving of ends.....those babies are getting chopped off....this Mimi's on a mission!!! Now which quilt do I want to do.....humm...I better go so I can start looking around! Could you all tell me how to take a picture of what I'm finishing and post it??This is more fun then a Mimi should be allowed......  |
