I love Aran but I'd rather make a purse or pillow cover...an afghan is much too big a project for me I do want to see all of the ones that get made.

Never tried aran, willing to give it a go. Think an afghan is too big/ambitious for a first project, anyone have a pillow pattern they can share?

You know, I recognize Aran when I see it, & of course have seen patterns for Aran, but I have never made anything Aran. I'll be honest & admit I have never even read any of the patterns. So, what is it that makes Aran, Aran?
