I have my yarn and my hook and ready to rock!!! I got the lion brand homespun yarn. The color is baroque, which is almost like a light plum color. Let me know when you all have your yarn and hooks ready and then we'll start the crochet along!

I 'll pick up my Yarn tomorrow if I go into town; not sure what's going on around here yet.

Did you decided what kind of yarn you'll be using?

No, I'm still debating; have heard that the Homespun isn't too fun to work with. Have you used it before? What do you think of it?

I have used it before. I started making something with it (can't remember now), but it was difficult for that particular item....so I tore it out and tried socks. It wasn't too bad making the socks. I think since this poncho is mainly double crochet and no fancy stitching..it might be ok....but I do agree, it can be difficult to work with.
