Thanks Carol Ann I used grey Walmart bags and white grocery bags. I think they compliment each other nicely. Thanks Manda it is hard to work with plarn but I've made a few now so the only problems I have with the plarn is I find my hands ache a little. Cutting and preparing the bags is a no brainer while I watch TV. I can get quite a few bags cut watching a movie. I'm prepping red and yellow bags to make a Spanish flag tote. That one will be for me.

Thanks tweed. Yes the plarn is hard on the hands. I still have another bag to make so I'm taking a break before I start #2.

Plarn = Plastic Yarn Plastic bags are cut into strips and used to crochet items like these bags......

Plarn is "yarn" made from plastic bags. There are some tutorials in the "How-to" section. Our mimimia is the resident master of these bags.

Thanks Crochetgirl. It's a great way to recycle all of the plastic bags that shouldn't be put into the landfill. Thanks Tweed Now I feel I should make another one!

Who would ever think that plastic bags could look so pretty. I don't think I'd like working with the "yarn" though.
