I finished my crochet along poncho, front and back view.  It took 3 days so it's pretty quick!

Bende, you are very pretty, so your face above the Poncho could only have enhanced it.

I am on round 2 of the edging and it is not looking right...I have no Idea what I am doing wrong.. the shells are not lining up..I am a relatively a new crocheter and I should problably find someone who could guide me. You did not find any problems with the pattern instructions for the edging did you?

I did find the instructions on the poncho bordering  confusing...so I pretty much did my own interpretation of the shell bordering.  I did single crochets in 3 stitches between the shells, and then the shells in the previous row's shells, and I only did 2 rows of the shell border since I was running low on the yarn.

Bende I LOVE your poncho.  I started making the one from Lion Brand but wasn't able to do it.  Got frustrated after I started over atleast 8 times.  LOL.  Guess I need learn more about chrocheting before I tackle it again.  Yours is really awesome.

Thank you Shari!  It was a fun one to work on, and the first item I've ever made for myself!

I think you did a great job on it.  I have been making child sizes of this poncho, and of course my granddaughters took them all.
