 but my wrist is not letting me crochet much at the mo

Not sure why your wrist hurts, but mine is due to carpal tunnel and possibly arthritis.  I have found that heat helps a lot.  I have one of those wax spas and even though it is a bit rough to get the wax on your wrists, it can be done.  Or I have pulled out the heating pad, popped an Aleve, and sat on the couch watching TV.  Kind of a bummer that I can't crochet while watching TV, but as long as the pain goes away, that's all that matters.

sorry your wrist causes you pain as mine does  arthitis is agravated with crochet. rest and heat seem to be the best remedies hope it feels better soon

Not sure what is wrong with my wrist but am off to the GP asap to find out.
I'm sure I broke my wrist when I was younger but it was never treated (long story) But at the time it was very painful I couldnt move my fingers or even pick up a pencil.
Now the problem i have is a burning type ache and every now and then it feels like someone is sticking a needle through my wrist!! OOOWCH!!
Dont know if that is anything anyone else gets? Could it be arthritis from an untreated fracture?

Anyway dont know why I told you all that.. see what happens when I drink a glass of wine, I get way too chatty
