That purse looks awesome! I love the modification you made, too. It doesn't seem that hard to make the handles according to your instructions. Hmm...maybe I'll even try it sometime soon.

I have that Stitch'N'Bitch book. In it, the author says that she deliberately didn't rate projects as 'beginner', 'easy', 'intermediate', etc so as not to discourage readers from trying things.

That's exactly what I do. If I see a pattern that says intermediate or advanced I won't even try it. But I think I will now.
